Infected with 'police security virus'... urgent help needed

Or I think,need urgent advice, was accessing porn earlier, and I got the locked screen I have heard about saying I have been infected, demanding monies etc etc.

I have eset smart security and I also have a British telecom router... the computer was completely locked. so I did what most laymen do I just switched the computer off, turned off the router and turned it back on again, and then restarted the computer, not even in safe mode and it seems to have disappeared?

What would you advise me do? do I need to worry about accessing my bank accounts.?

just download avast anti-virus from download.com and run it... it will show u any viruses or malware on there

It was a tube site on 'tube galore', under their german femdom section, just clicked on the link 'mature femdom2' and my browser got locked, Anyway, I have scanned with the eset scanner,malware bytes also, not going to do any banking though till I have scanned in safe mode,. Iam surprised I got back on windows actually without being in safe mode from what I have now read, must be different kinds of this virus.
