Inflation Was Hottest in Atlanta, Mildest in San Francisco in 2021

If your in ATL metro and haven’t bought property yet you need to get on it. Atlanta is quickly becoming similar to the Bay Area in terms of housing prices. A lot of tech companies and employees are moving to the area driving up prices. Most 1 bedrooms are starting at 1600 now it’s crazy.

Buy property when the housing market is at a all-time high? :francis:

Nah, save your money and wait for the inevitable housing crash that's coming once the FED begin raising interest rates next month. There will be hella property flooding back onto the market in 1-2 years for much cheaper prices than they are now.

Remote work is fueling this. People want to live in better weather states with better options for housing.

Why live in NY and deal with snow, rats and homeless ppl and pay 3000 for a studio. When you can pay 3000 and get a nice high rise apt that overlooks the ocean with parking.

I think the genie out the bottle. Prices in ATL will stay high regardless. More people are moving to the city than housing can keep up with
