I was originally going to make this in FS or TFR (awesome subfrm, btw. ty!) because I'm looking for allusions/cultural references that would make The Cole proud. It's been about 5 weeks of me getting on white people on stage about their...uh...their evilness...and it's be going over really well. At Least In Vegas.
I make jokes but don't really back them up with concrete facts. I could do some research on my own for sure but I thought it would be interesting to get input from other people. Comedy is nothing without an audience an as a black man doing it I feel the need to carry on tradition and speak on race relations. While the topic has been done to death and can get dreadfully banal, I want to be progressive in this part of the act.
What I want to know is what figures y'all would be interested in hearing about or what would really make an audience think? I know that the black movement isn't as ridiculous as it was in dikk Gregory's era but I want to channel that for today.
#Inherently hasn't necessarily killed with me on stage, but it has done quite well.
Drop some knowledge on me that you would like to hear a joke about and I will record it for The Coli.
