Uh, because its an early build that's constantly changing and time will tell if they end up making it deep enough to be a legit fighter. Of course its fun when you're playing the first new Killer Instinct in forever, but I don't think you can fairly judge it until they at least release the "complete" season 1 version or whatever. I still think its bs Microsoft is basically forcing this small dev team to release a work in progress so they have the illusion of more launch titles.

They were demoing it all over Phoenix last week, coming back in November.

the core gameplay is there. its the Thunder build which has shadow move counters, and counter combo breakers. the only thing this build doesnt have is frame data, and ultra combo enders. whatever impressions you had for this version will only increase with more time to learn strategies, the story mode, dojo mode, etc.

the lack of characters creating the assumption that its incomplete is actually not so bad when you factor in the combo breaker system and having to properly read what is a light, medium, or heavy attack (or pay for guessing wrong).

And they are back here this Saturday
