I really hate how they run horror franchises into the ground, this looks like it might go left real quick, especially given the wack sauce that was the third installment. That said, of the strength of 1 and 2, I'm gonna give this a look

Interesting to note that Leigh whannel did write this one. He's written all of them. Also wrote saw and few others. He also directed the third film.


This one is a new director. His only other film was the taking of Deborah Logan. Haven't seen that one myself.
