Drop looks nice, bruh.
I haven't tried changing struts on any of my cars. Looks relatively simple.
Did you rent a strut compressor tool?

you dont need a strut compressor, youll need a spring compressor and a impact

drop it some more you still have a wheel gap
The shyt rubs if I turn hard breh. It's low enough. Hopefully gonna get some wheels next year that will fill that in

I did not have an impact gun :sadbron:

I am thinking about getting a tank and some air tools. Getting an air jack alone would add years to my life

shyt was complicated as fukk

Definitely depends on the car though, shyt was way easier on my Maxima and I got pretty quick at it on my Accord

Yes, the spring compressor, wrong word. The tool that compresses the spring so you can separate the spring from the strut assembly safely.

suspension jobs are intimidating but when you look at it step by step its really simple but def need all the right tools. You can get a cordless impact from Ryobi. I got that and one that you plug in. Get one (or 2) of those full size 3 ton floor jack and some jack stands.

I'm doing this on my Lexus next month. I'm not doing coilovers though I'm changing out the struts and getting some lowering springs.

In principle/on paper the job is easy. But shyt gets a little complicated in real life. For example I could not get the back springs out.... I had to use a plank of wood to pry the suspension open. Little shyt like that can trip you up. Def read forums and watch vids of people doing the install, it can get tricky.

They are starting to settle in... they feel good AF now :ahh:

A little bouncy on the highway but not bad. And in the corners :merchant:

Now I just need to upgrade my sway bars and I'll be straight.
Bouncy? Don't tell me you bought fake ST springs from eBay at a low-low price?
