Both pics are bad. The photographer/artist has a loooong history of fetishizing black women and their asses. He has a book called Jungle Fever.

Look at the original and tell me it doesn't look like some old school racist cartoon.

In both shoots the asses are exaggerated

lol, i see the original for what it was meant to be. I mean Kim tried. Bur she is profiting off of it as an attention piece; not for it paying homage to the original which was art. But such is life. This is why i want to teach my niece about culture so she can understand the difference in Kim's & the original by Carolina Beaumont. One it art the other is a media ploy.
you should learn before you teach :snoop:

"That’s the basis of my entire work," Goude said. "Creating a credible illusion."

It's the "credible illusion" part that raised hackles among viewers and critics of Goude's studies on black female bodies, and Jones in particular. From an early age, "I had jungle fever," the photographer told People in 1979, explaining his habit of exaggerating and eroticizing the features of black women. In "Carolina Beaumont," for example, her ass is not the only standout. Styleite quotes cultural critic Janell Hobson’s take: "The subject wears an 'exotic' hairstyle and ‘smiles’ for the camera in the pose of a 'happy savage pleased to serve.'" Jones became the primary subject of Goude's Jungle Fever book, featuring her in various athletic or exotic scenarios, including the legendary cover shot over her growling like an animal inside a steel cage.

i think it takes more than the outside to make someone beautiful.
lying to the public and telling everyone shes natural doesnt help me agree that shes good looking. :manny:

it makes me see her in a different light and not allow me to think she is beautiful. especially when she bought her "beauty" the past 7 years.
Yup, Plastic surgery is an instant woodkiller for me. Makes you look van and insecure.
