the whole point of them shortening announcements and dates is to not do delays. I’d be surprised if any of these games get significant delays from this point on

No way this is 2028. 2026 or early 2027. There's a second game being developed that started in 2022 that will probably be out then. Being at this stage suggests development was completed some time ago and are now concentrated on polishing the game. There's also a picture that was posted suggesting 2026. This studio never goes beyond 6 years with a game every 2 years since 2020. Gameplay and a year will probably be announced at TGA.
