I been generally doing IF like the whole year and def helps lose weight and I feel better. I been reading about people fasting every other day even sometimes for 48 hours.

Anyone ever try for 48 hours or a whole day? Is it even healthy? I drink like half a gallon of water a day plus coffee so I am not even that hungry like that anymore.

Well with intermittent fasting you can eat whatever you want for two hours while fasting for the rest of the day (22HRS).

Fasting for 48hrs is possible but you gotta have will power to make it through the symptoms such as headaches, drowsiness, sluggishness, hunger, restlessness, etc from going two days without eating.

I would try Intermittent fasting because you'll be able to eat whatever you want within a two-hour span. You say you're not "that hungry anymore" but you've been eating something to keep you going.

Another thing is that water and teas would be better than coffee because depending on how you like your coffee, that can only add on more calories and sugar.

Intermittent fasting has a lot of health benefits if you do it right and eat healthy during those two hours.

I've been intermttien fasting for like the whole year. Well I try to stick with it, on weekends it's tough. IF doesn't mean anything tho if you still eat like shyt during your eating hours.

I put coffee but I actually switched to tea a few months ago. Still slip up get ice coffee with sugar in it sometimes.

Fasting for 48 hours just sounds dumb and dangerous but a whole day sounds do able.

Neither one is healthy. Just eat smaller portions of healthy food, cut out bad sugars as much as you can, and exercise daily.

Eat protein to stay fuller for a longer time.
IF isn't that bad. My maintenance intake is like 2500 or some shyt. We don't really need to eat as much as we think or feel. 3 big meals a day is not the wave imo.

You do realize that there are people who just eat once a day (preferably during dinner) while staying hydrated/energized with fluids (water, tea, coffee, etc) to keep them going...

It's not complicated. If you're hungry, eat. Once you satisfy your hunger, stop eating.

A big mistake most people make is eating the entire meal they prepared, even though they were already satisfied halfway through the meal. Along with all the snacking people do throughout the day, that's where the weight gain comes from.

It's a good idea to cook meals ahead of time and store them in Tupperware containers that make it easy to control your serving size.

This along with daily exercise will work wonders.

24 hour fast isn't enough. 48 hours is just when you begin REAL fat loss. Although I wouldn't recommend 48 hours+ a week unless you've got at least 6 months fasting experience.

Very light breakfast or just skip breakfast altogether.

If you skip breakfast or eat breakfast, whether big or small......you're going to be hungry when it's time for lunch anyway.
