Ive been seeing the past few days people on twitch making fun of people with autism and just randomly throwing the word around as an insult etc... even playing games people first insult theyve been using in games against me is "shut up you autist"

has the internet really desensitized people to the point where we make fun of people with handicaps/disabilities now just cause ?

I joke and bull shyt about a LOT of things, but you'll never hear me call people retarded or use autism or other disabilities/handicaps against people.. what if your kid was born that way ? Wouldnt be so funny now

and while I dont personally call people that (because of reasons I used in my post), to the years leading up to recently, I did see it used a lot less probably because people understand that shyt aint nothing to joke bout..

You used to see in movies / comedy acts people doing shyt to mimic people with handicaps, but you rarely see it now a days too
