I got a group show in April and I'm not counting my chickens but I submitted my application on the 3rd and got hit on the 17th for a finalist interview.

That was 14 days. They were impressed or since I submitted everything early they just wanted to get me done early.... either or

It is competitive but if you making art to sell, people realize that from an artist that makes art for Art's sake too. That's how you become separated
