He would've had a point if Bioware didn't push the gay agenda in Mass Effect 3, and besides there are options as far as homo/hetero relationships. I see what he means by there doesnt have to be any relationships but still, bioware has went both ways no pun.

...and also we're talking about Mortal Kombat. The series was always neutral on that shyt, and before you say "But...but...scantily clad women with big t*ts", there are also roided out shirtless men. Same diff.

The point of that video applies here too and it's everything in every game isn't for you or about you. There are other people in the world besides you. This isn't about being politically correct or some agenda. This is a group of people that exist and there's a character to represent them.

So they do this by giving them their token gay? Why don't they go all the way and have a game with a gay main character then? I dunno, shyt still makes me feel like they're making it a point, kinda like they're doing with comics making random characters come out and shyt. Although I'll give them one thing, at least they don't make the characters stereotypical as fukk like most gaming companies (I'm looking at you Japan)did blacks I'm not saying I have anything against gays nor that they don't have a voice/opinion in the gaming community but I feel this shyt's kinda......forced?

I wouldnt say people are afraid of it(well some might be), so much as they are annoyed with the media od'ing on shoving homosexuality down peoples throats. Its like with everything they act like they MUST involve something about homosexuality so the gay community doesnt feel left out or something. Wouldnt that seem patronizing to them? Gay marriage and DOMA and Don't Ask, Don't Tell were all on the national agenda in the past few years, why? Because gay hollywood, gay lawyers, gay legislators, gay blue collar workers all came in with ideas and legislation or counter-legislation to forward their cause. Pair that with media presence and a centralized voice and you have progress.

nikkas don't get the lawyers, we don't centralize our voice. When Ferguson went down you had half the community on some uncle ruckus shyt and another quarter just there for distructive fukkery. Until we centralize our agenda and get it through people's heads that we dont have a Jessie/Al/MLK/X for this generation and ARENT going to get one, the sooner we can mae true legislative progress.

I mean i'm aware of the demonism of the system. That still doesn't change the fact that the numbers show that those blacks who are in the know or actually make it. Don't give their energy and time back. They may donate some money, but you don't see black lawers en masse making a lawsuit against a municipal police force for discrimanatory practices. Or Black politicians + media + educators coming together to bring a case to the supreme court or anything like that. These are things that the gay community did and did well. As you said the still have the white privlege on their side, true, but we need to not ignore, but power through that barrier.

White supremacy and white privlege isn't going anywhere....so being too concerned with it is a exercise in futility. The only thing we can do is motivate all facets of our culture through Black Excellence and make the rule of law include us as well...because as it stands...it doesnt'.
