Introspective Post From A Black NY Police Officer

His logic was flawed from the beginning...witnessing poverty from a black perspective drove him to want to be a police officer .

He was ashamed and whether he consciously knows it, he's looking to punish those people (other blacks) for making him feel the way he does.

Shifting the onus on to black civilians being killed by other black civilians is just reframing to
NOT hold law enforcement accountable. He use criminals to justify it and offer the
narrative that "THEY IS NO RETRIBUTION"

The two are intertwined whether we like them to be or not..The high crime rate in Black neighborhoods leads to a high police presence..If black on black crime didnt exist ..Black peoples interactions with police would be extremely low

And nobody is saying they shouldnt be held accountable..that was not the point of the article

The machines purpose is to protect itself... replace the word black with "poor" and it will
be clear this apologist whose afraid of losing his job and being alienated by his co conspirators
is a puppet for them to hide behind....

There's nothing profound in making excuses for emotionally charged policemen
who fly off the handle when civilians express dissent ....as if asking for clarity
on the nature of their racially motivated witch hunt is grounds for execution

And that is a fair and valid criticism..BUT all the studies ive seen show that while police DO handle black suspects more aggressively..mistreat them more...they do NOT kill Black people at a higher rate..which is what this cop was trying to say...its hard to believe because the media makes it look different but the numbers prove otherwise.

You can be as compliant and pre-emptive as you like and your skin color
will determine the outcome of your encounter... nothing else matters

These cowards are only accountable to themselves and thus have a conflict of interest
They wouldn't last in the army with this behavior, you know with people
who actually what they are doing due to being held accountable

Whats interesting is alot of Cops are Veterans as well...Its right to be angry and outraged at the 40 or so Unarmed Black men killed by police every year BUT if we dont actually look critically an honestly at the problem and just listen to the media or political agitators nothing will change.
For example I suspect a big number of those men had untreated mental Illness or drug studies have shown that most prison inmates have those problems

Such a ignorant article on OP's part. Not once did that man mention or acknowledge institutional racism that occurs in these police departments.

Are you referring to the racism that keep them from hiring or promoting Black cops...thats not a big issue now...

Because then you would have to prove that Race is the determinant not Crime rate or more aggressive policing in Black neighborhoods...BTW alot of the agressive policing in Black neighborhoods was a response to the crime rates of the 80s and 90s

Only back then the "activists" were calling the police racist for NOT coming into the hood fast enough and letting nikkas kill each other..showing up hours later to pick up the bodies.

More unarmed black civilians get killed than armed white civilians.
These executions and justifications are bizzarre because it's white civilian tax dollars
that end up paying for the law suits but fukk it ... Let the shells fly white boys

It's a systematic problem. American police conduct their own investigations and
aren't accountable to a third party. So they'll always look out for their own because
there's no reprecussions. White civilians turn this into race pissing match until a cop drops
a white kid like Zack Hammond but there's no coverage because it won't get ratings.

That's when reality hits. Wait a second.... I thought I was safe with cops

They lack empathy and think because they are white ...a cop will treat them differently

You are a civilian, a cop can knock you out cold and get away with it scott free

Crime is down all accross the board but they need to keep making quotas to show
they are "safe" aka funneling mules into private prison enterprises and that's it

Once you are in the system, it's a wrap.

Protest movements are a great tax incentivize... " look at me I help minorities so lower my bill
