I recently purchased this apple phone that supposedly encrypts the PIN number on your locked screen.This is intended to make it impossible for hackers or police to gain access to your phone during a traffic stop like they can with ALL galaxy smart phones.

If you have a galaxy smart phone, I feel sorry for you. A password alone is not sufficient.The software Google uses allows a back door for hackers or law enforcement to gain access to your phone by simply hooking it up to a machine.
