Get a PSTV instead. The Vita is basically dead unless you live in Japan. As much as some like it here it's a failed product in the same boat as the Wii U. There are some gems on it and the majority of them can be played on the PSTV which can be found dirt cheap.

i don't own one but from what i understand Sony has done nothing to support it and has not created many games for it.
3rd party games are non-existent.

it is widely recognized as a great device but Sony dropped the ball and then just walked away from it.

BTW memory cards is the topic of discussion. If your copping a Vita just get 32 gig card right from the get go if you can. Or 64 gig joint, it'll set you back 100 but I think it's worth it I've already used like 16 gigs. Anything smaller is a pain.

The Vita was a bad idea from the start. Most adults don't have that kinda downtime on the go to carry a dedicated gaming device. Kids that tag along usually do.

Even owning one I hate portables. I'd rather game on the TV because I only really game at home anyway. That alone makes the PSTV a better buy than the Vita to me.

Tried to make money off the memory cards and hardcore games don't work on mobile devices. Who wants to play Killzone on the bus other than @Fatboi1 ?

This isn't true.

Uncharted
Resistance
Call of duty
Batman
Kill zone
Little big planet
Tear away
Unit 13
Assassin's creed
Gravity rush

Etc

Sony supported it but once it was apparent their was no market for it they cut off support.

I e had one for about three years. Only games I've played all the way through are Persona 4 Golden (The GOAT Vita game) amd Final Fantasy 10 remaster.

Now this is mostly due to lack of time as I had more free time to play when i was in the Army as opposed to now where I'm working constantly. But I will say that the quality of games I like to play (RPG's) is lacking, especially when compared with the OG PSP.

Sword Art Online was dissapointing. Didn't even bother to finish

Conception 2 was fun for awhile but is repetitive

Didn't even bother to finish Tales.

Freedom Wars was ehhhh

I'm probably going to use it more for remote play in the future when I get a PS4 when Persona 5 drops. It's a great little powerful machine, Sony just doesn't give a fukk about it

Thinking about getting one in the future simply because I want to play persona 4 golden but outside of that what other games does it have worth getting ?

Secondly, how is the remote play with a ps 4 and how does it work?

Some argue the experience is the same if not better than playing on the actual PS4.
Buy it now and experience greatness yourself.

Damn. I forgot the pstv existed.

I'm not looking to get one for a portable as I just wanted to play a few games but given how cheap pstv is this does seem like the better option in my case. Dap and rep breh. :ohhh:
