I think it's the lack of focus on AJ that has me feeling like that. If he was main eventing every show and they promoted his championship matches like they do brock than things would be different

You would think they would have Styles main event these shows and make him the most promoted star in Lesnar's absence, but they don't.

When I was younger, they would switch between having the WWE and World Heavyweight Champion main event the PPV. That was a very simple way to make us see that both belts were equal, but they would never do that today.

That’s literally impossible for that statistic to be true. Whatever told you that Bret Hart drew worse than JBL is a fake stat and you should question the source.

The number includes TV tapings but not PPVs; pure house show figures drops about five guys below his 92/93 run (including obvious suspects like the Diesel and Backlund mid-90s runs, but also unfortunately my GOAT Eddie's reign ).

Bret being a struggle draw outside of a handful of international markets isn't exactly some little unknown fact though, breh. People like to just make excuses for him (some valid, some not) that other guys would never ever get… again, kind of the same as many stay doing for Styles and his current run.

Its the writting, most certainly not AJs fault. Dudes the best wrestler in the world right now. The E doesn't know how to use a ton of the guys. The writting is at an all time low for me right now.

Writing is abysmal. I've been telling you all for years it doesn't matter who the champion is the writing is going to bring them down to mediocre levels. I know that used to upset the agenda driven posters but the shyt is so bad now you all can't help but to see the forest for the trees. Well, at least on the men's side. You all still think champs matter when it comes to women's wrestling. You'll trade a long, meaningless Bliss (or other blonde) reign for a short, meaningless Banks (or other person of color) reign. WWE is terrible. I'm still amazed at how Vince was able to finesse multiple billion dollar deals out of corporations and kingdoms for the shyt sludge he is peddling. Has to be the Trump influence, has to be.

No, not to me. He has been a pretty good champion. Mic skills are gradually improving and his in ring talent will always be there. I also dig his catch phrases also .

I just think it is mainly the storylines that he has been put in and the amount of buzz or hype WWE is generating around it. WWE is still more concern with their Raw belt more than SD sadly which is anotha reason.

This feud with Samoa Joe will most definitely be good for him.
