I was just there a few weeks ago for an assignment. I work with public safety for my job and was in a 911 center down there a lot. While nothing racial happened, just listening to mostly white workers talk, I got the impression racial relations are probably complete shyt. Was my superficial assessment correct?

It's just my sixth sense about this was going off the charts as far as the attitudes and the way these folks thinking was that I got that impression. I did notice quite a few black owned businesses though. There was this black owned seafood shop I stopped at down there that was the bomb. The owners acted like I was family when I came in. Wish I can remember the name.

Oh I don't know about all that. I just visited for a long weekend so I don't know about daily life there. I'm sure it's like most other cities with race relations tho.

Kinda slow n sleepy...not a lot to do. Women aint nun to write home about

Seems like lot of big businesses are moving there so i think the job market prob strong
