Have both, even though roku has WAY more channels, some of them like the streaming functions are a bit annoying. Apple tv's airplay is flawless... well almost. and if you have an ipad you can airplay alot of apps that isnt included with apple tv.. i honestly use my apple tv more, since I can DL any show or movie I want so I dont need those channels
