Is Atlanta really a top city in the US or is that just this forum saying that?

Ive never been, im not dissing the city at all im just interested to know what makes so many posters here say Atlanta is basically a world class city and one of the best cities in the USA because based off my research it really doesnt seem to offer more than good looking black women with a nice nightlife.

really what makes Atlanta so good or is it just people on this forum from there making it out to sound really good? because I never hear anyone outside of forum big upping that city and people who i know who have been there say its just like any average landlocked city.

ive been to Charlotte before which is the closest thing to Atlanta for me and if its anything like that then thats the definition of average living.

New Orleans is easily one of the better cities ive been too. their culture is awesome there are no cities like it in the USA they have their own identity and hold onto it. my best friend lives there i was thinking about moving there but i wouldnt make nearly as much as i do here

I'm not a fan of the traffic and the layout of it. But Atlanta is a fine city. Top city? I don't know about,that I think whatever is going on in ya life, is what makes ya city living situation the way it is. Meaning if you find the women of ya dreams and a great job in Atlanta, you'll love it. If you get heartbroken, and are broke in Atlanta, you'll hate it. All living places, are based of this from my experience.

Traffic is a bytch lol...outside of that I love the A I treat it like my second home.... You get more bang for your buck with the houses too

It depends on what makes a city world class to you. Fortune 500 companies HQ here (Delta, Turner, Coca Cola, Home Depot, Chik Fil A) & a lot more with regional offices, worlds busiest airport in Hartsfield, world class shopping (Lenox, Phipps, Buckhead as a whole), beautiful women, highly respected Educational institutions (Ga Tech, Emory, Morehouse, Spelman). I think fine dining is on the rise here too...the city as a whole is just a lot more cultured since The Olympics. But I say this as a native of the city...I wonder how outta towners view it here

BTW, Charlotte wants to be ATL...we don't view them as in our category
