Is Below The Heavens our generations Illmatic?

When I first Illmatic and heard Below the Heavens a few years later for the first time it had the same impact on me, same feeling - the nostalgia, honesty and existential thoughts.

Mainstream? u sd that 'it was written'(nas' most commercial album & fabricAted album) is better than illmatic. Stop it fam. Realize that sometimes music goes "mainstream" because its universally accepted as good and paletable. And on the other hand nvkkas hide under the guise of "underground" or "real hip hop" because their shvt is wack or just not up to par. padawan

I fux with the album. its a good comin of age story. great production. cool lyrics. good hooks. "dancin in the rain" is prolly my favorite joint. 4/5 & blus best project. im just not that polarized by it.
