Is Brock pinning Undertaker the best segment Vince/Kevin Dunn ever produced?

There's not one single aspect of the production that could have been done better, IMO:

1.) Not hitting Brock's music as usual after the pin like they do for 99.9% of matches. I'm sure they expected an interesting reaction, but I don't think anyone could have predicted how the crowd actually sounded.

2.) Cole says the streak is over and then the announcers go silent, letting the viewer take in the moment and hear the crowd and Heyman

3.) Heyman coming in the ring and looking shocked, the camera hits him at the right time. Adds realism to it, he looks genuinely surprised.

4.) Finding the perfect crowd reactions face shots. They do it all the time now, but this was one of the first times I actually remember them doing this. They found the perfect crowd reactions.

5.) Keeping it silent all the way to when the 21-1 flashes on the screen so you can hear the gasp of the crowd as it sets in what really just happened.

In the longer version on the Network its great because they keep going back and forth between showing Brock and showing the crowd reactions perfectly, and the announcers dont finally start mumbling shyt until Brock is up the ramp.

Funny shyt.

The crowd reactions of Henry beating Blandy clean for the Hall of pain push and Bryan getting shafted at Elimination Chamber 2014 was buck wild too...the look of shock and disgust was amazing

It was perfect I agree. I'd put the following up there:

  • Flair vs Hbk retirement finish and walkoff
  • nexus beatdown
  • Undertaker vs hbk mania 25 entrances
  • Kane debut
  • Idk if dunn was involved, but the savage / hogan turn on snme

Idk how far up the chain he was but I'm sure Dunn was a part of it in some shape or form.

That moment is the reason why I still watch wrestling for moments like that.

The moment also was helped by the fact that only McMahon, Dunn, Undertaker, Lesnar and possibly the ref knew the ending. I would've loved to be backstage when that ending happened.

Nah the ref didn't even look like he knew. I think only taker and Brock knew. Ref was looking around like "oh shyt I just made a mistake"

Edit: nvm I actually haven't seen it since it happened and the ref didn't look like that at all lol. Just rewatched it

i was with a group of ppl watching that match
i was barely paying attention
match was boring and i just figured they were gonna trade finishing moves until the undertaker finally won

when the finish happened, everyone was shocked and thought either the ref made a mistake or that brock was shooting

crazy stuff
