It used to be the American Dream but many from our generation are opting out of buying homes.

I want one but I ain't tryna committ for 30 years....I wanna be able to pick up and go and not stress about a house when or if I ever lose my job

Like, is buying a home still a great investment as it used to be or did the housing bubble ruin that too?

There are benefits and negative aspects to either renting or purchasing. The same goes for buying or leasing a car. You should do what's right for you.

Depends on the state, buying a home in NY is straight up status though, mainly because once you look around and see what people in other parts of the country pay you're left feeling like you got ripped off.
