Tims got bought out by burger king and some Brazilian investment corp years ago. They tried to make more money by using cheaper shyttier quality ingredients for their products and hoped they could live off their brand recognition. Most Canadians know this now and avoid it but they're everywhere so if you live in the middle of nowhere it might be your only choice.

Also pretty sure mcdonalds uses tim hortons old coffee source so try that if you wanna know what it tasted like back in the day.

Had it in Toledo for the first time and it was the worst fast-food breakfast food and coffee I'd ever had in my entire life.

Thought it would be better in Canada - had it in Toronto (because it was convenient), Montreal and Etobicoke - and it was just as bad :russ:

Tim Hortons is trash. Heard so much about only to be very dissatisfied. Canadians have good taste so I don’t know how they keep going back to that chain.

Coffee is mid most places
At this point great beans from Ethiopia and Uganda can be imported anywhere. the issue with American coffee is the culture of 20 oz cups and marketing literal milkshakes as coffee.

as someone who has had coffee in many places ive never experience a coffee culture as laughable as whats popular here in the US.
