fukk no. 99% of games are torture to get through. even the games tonight were great flashes of play, surrounded by a foul every other posession. lol @ 2 hour and 45 minute regulation college hoops games. they needed to do something after the shytfest that was the entire last season of college hoops, but making every instance of contact a foul went about it the wrong way. lessen the shot clock. there is zero reason we need to see some guy dribble for 10 seconds before his team gets into its offensive set.

how they thought this shyt would "make the game more free flowing" is mind boggling. sure, you will arbitrarily increase point totals by shooting more free throws. that hardly makes it a more entertaining game. players play with more contact before they get to college, and will play with more contact after college. it only harms the quality of an already diminishing game. lower the shot clock, and let the players play. you get more points due to more possessions, and there still is some kind of flow to the game instead of a stoppage every 30 seconds of play
