forget the trojan horse that is the “is it a classic” debate. either you fks with the music or not. and to me, it gets stronger and stronger. dre rapping is the weakest thing on it but its still not bad enough to distract from the highlights. and i like his rapping on some songs, man, its probably the best put together album i heard this year.

albums need to stand the test of time in order for it to be claimed "classic" i think people need to chill with all that talk. it's ruined hip hop.

i think people sick and tired of waiting for a single project that takes years and years to drop. only diehard fans would like an album that takes years to drop from a certain artist. i've enjoyed Compton alot but it wasn't really worth waiting 15 years.

well i wouldn't call it classic myself since it just came out a few months ago. music has to age well. classics can be listened to all of the time for example Doggystyle, Ready To Die, All Eyez On Me, GRODT, The Documentary, MMLP etc.
