:francis:I'ma keep it a buck breh. Its a glorified walking simulator with a shyt load of draining cut scenes. At first I was like alright, I'm going to treat the game like a podcast game. I had one mission where I had to deliver a bunch of packages to a center, but guess what these friggin shadow things came out of no where and fukked up the entire mission. It ruined my progress and made me rage to the point I uninstalled the game.

Bottom line, its a okay game for what it is, but beyond delivering packages, it is a snoozefest with some of the worst controls and mechanics you ever imagine.

That's what I'm worried about

If you ever played a Kojima game, you already know what you getting into. Sadly, this game takes the worst of Metal Gear Solid and tries to double up on it.

I would use that twenty for a better game, but if you still have the urge...to be fair it is a real gorgeous game. Beyond it's looks, its a friggin slog to get through :francis:

How long did you play for? The controls and mechanics are mostly challenging in the opening part of the game because you don't have access to all your tools yet. Once the game opens up (after the first 8-10 hours) you quickly gain a lot of tools that make traversal actually fun. The story also picks up a lot more by focusing each chapter on a dedicated character and positions them in the world.

I can easily understand if people are out off by the opening act of the game but it does not do justice to the full experience which is actually a great game.

$20 isn't bad for the length of the game but it doesn't ramp up until the middle (story or gameplay wise), and near the end you just want the shyt to be over. It overstays its welcome in a huge way. I only finished because I wanted to see the ending.

for 20 try it out.

Starts out slow but after chapter 2 it opens up and you get a ton of dope shyt.

Yes you deliver shyt but there is also action and stealth as well, but since thats not the focus of the game, those parts are rudimentary compared to the traversal. You do get guns and bombs and shyt. same upgrade path as MGS but just less choices.

Traversal is not just walking, you have bikes, vans, hoverboards, exo suits, ziplines etc.

I can see it not being for everyone but I liked what i played (not as much as MGS but still, it was novel in concept) and plan on going back to beat it (not a knock on the game i just have a bad habbit of not beating stuff).

I stopped around the middle of Act 2 because it was so frustration. I really wanted to like the game but it just one of those games that you will have to put your whole time in, like straight up being in the world of Death Stranding.

I'll probably come back to the game later on but so far...meh:francis:

I need to try to get back into this.

Copped a while back but I lost interest early in the game because it just seemed like walking around.
