That wasn't his only drop today, he dropped a 7 yard pass over the middle. Plus the nikka wasn't getting open

Dez is the type of player you have to keep engaged or he will lose interest.

HOWEVER, I will say this. Dez route running is garbage. He rely's way too much on raw physical ability.

Most of his catches are low percentage scenarios where the probability of a completion is less than 50%.

With that being said, his presence ALONE opens up the field for everyone else because defense will still draw the coverage to his way. As long as the QB doesn't try to force him the ball, the offense will stay in rhythm.

Antonio Brown is faster and is a way better route runner so you can't put Dez above him.

Green and Jones have the height advantage plus Jones is just as fast so you can't put Dez above them neither.

Dez is still top 10, maybe even top 5 but at the end of the day, this offense doesn't depend on Dez needing to put up big numbers for them to dominate which is a good thing.

I'd say to make a fair assessment like that you should wait until the end of the system. He has missed a few games this year, but that does not excuse him from criticism.

He had a decent game vs the Eagles but then again he was targeted 14 times bringing in 4 catches for 113 and a TD. Today vs the Browns he was targeted 4 times bringing in 1 catch for 19 yards. Not the numbers you suspect from a player of his caliber.

Let's not get wreckless with the comments though because buddy has a star on his helmet. He's a starter on damn near every NFL roster whether he is a top 4 WR or not.
