Dez Bryant tweaked his knee in the 1st quarter of last night's win against the Chicago Bears but played through it.

The Cowboys are confident it's nothing serious but are sending him to get an MRI later today.

Through 3 games, Dez Bryant has 11 catches for 150 yards and 1 TD (Cole Beasley has 20 for 214).

In past years 11 catches and 150 yards would be 1 game, not 3.

Even going back to last season, after returning from injury he caught 26 balls for 353 yards in those final 8 games.

While we can all admit his injuries and Tony Romo's are part of it, how long do you go before holding the cowboys and him accountable?

Other NFL receivers have put up better production with bad quarterbacks and injuries too.

I don't mean to sound the alarm since Dallas is 2-1. But Dez hasn't looked like Dez for a long time now.

Do you expect him to turn it up?

As a Cowboys fan I will say he has elite qualities, but his play has not backed that up as of late. There are better receivers than him right now.

As athletic as he is I can't really trust Dez to put the team on his back and come up with 9 catches for 120 and 2 TDs.

That's why I laughed when people compared him to Calvin Johnson. CJ was gonna get his no matter what and Dez just isn't there right now.

A long time? :what: He was hurt last year and has had a rough 3 game start to his season. I don't think you can make such an assessment until midseason at the earliest. I remember when Barry Sanders had like 50 yds the first two games and then ran for 2000 yds for the season.

This is the gist of what I meant to say.

I'm not trying to trash Dez because he is a supreme talent.

But the production isn't there. And other receivers get theirs despite the coverages and the quarterbacks.
