pardon the trollish sounding title :skip:

I just got back from an evening out with my boys where naturally the biggest social topic of the week was discussed : drake vs meek mill.

now we all agreed that Meek shouldn't have gone there... Drake was too big a monster to be taken down but why though ?

50 Cent vs Ja Rule was worse than this but Drake has recieved a level of support from the general public and corporations which I've never seen happen before..ever...:dwillhuh: So many beefs have happened...

Even when Jay Z took an L on Tidal these mainstream media types were quick to speak about his 'flop site'. Mainstream are quick to drag J, Kanye, Kendrick, ANYONE when need be

Drake currently has

  • Goverment Officials (literally)
  • Major Corporations
  • Churches (literally)
  • Most Mainstream media
  • Internation media which usually never reports about rap
  • All of social media
  • White people (who have never commented on rap before)
  • Major Actors (who have never commented on rap before)
  • Major Sports Stars
  • Major Non-Rap Musicians
ALLL coming out to show him support. I literally can not think of one rapper (past or present) who I've seen people cape for this much...I've met people who haven't even listened to him in years but they're on social media talking about it

Why though ? I'm on the understanding that Drake won but when this shyt is on CNN with reporters (who clearly ain't about it) are showing love ? :dwillhuh:

The only thing I can think of is due to his Apple contract his PR machine are keeping his image clean because my girl is literally showing me meme's of meek on female sites which never even discuss rap..

Am I the only one who beyond everything is looking back at this objectively and thinks this is fukking crazy and how much this blew up ? I have people who I know (my white coworker) don't listen to rap say 'Drake is the better rapper and won' or chicks on my social media talmbout 'Noone here to listen to Meeks ugly ass'

The whole premise of the beef got buried real quick (ghostwriting) and something 'else' is here now..

Pastor in Church dragging Meek :dwillhuh:

Trinidad musicians overseas dragging Meek :dwillhuh:

I was never one to believe in 'the powers that be' or all that shyt about 'jews' but seriously WTF is this :patrice:

It's way, way, way bigger than rap now ...

All these journalists/PR teams writing these caping articles, All these celebs etc

I remember when 50 cent spoke about how he grew organically but Drake has had so many corporates invest in him.. :patrice: were they Jews by any chance ?

I can't be the only one who clocked on to this :dwillhuh:

more like he has social media privilege

people are way more tuned into pop culture then ever before

it's a mutual way for people to communicate. people laugh and relate to the pastor more. they see the company as a bit more hip and in tune. that helps provide brand recognition at a minimum, and for some it helps feel more positively about the brand. same thing goes for politicians

hell, same thing goes for anyone on any social media, like this forum here

it's not some giant global Jewish conspiracy to prop up drake

it's just something that people are actively talking about right now, and through that shared experience it allows US to express ourselves to each other on a massive scale

Kardashians are biggest on social media.

Don't stop mainstream media dragging them.
