How is it not classic, it still gets burn to this day more than other supposed classics from this era. Lyrically, Drake was on point on songs like Headlines, HYFR, Under Ground King, Lord Knows the R&B stuff was good Crew Love, Marvin's Room, The Real Her, Take Care. All the features came correct from Rihanna to Andre 3000 to Rick Ross. Great production from 40 really uniquely produced in terms of that ambient sound and the little chopped and screwed samples. Introduced Kendrick and The Weeknd to the mainstream, really defined it's era.

It's not even a top 10 album of the 2010s. shyt is not a classic bruh. It's a very good album. It's just not AMAZING. The Real Her, Doing It Wrong sound exactly the same, Take Care was just 808s & HB optimized. It's not a classic. It's the closest he has, but its not there yet.

To make a classic album you have to not ride the current wave, experiment and do your own thing, change the direction of the game.

Drake can't or won't do that. He's a victim of his own success. He's going to keep pumping out radio friendly songs until his run is over
