In my eyes yes but what if the Clippers keep CP3 and find a decent wing player. We all know Blake is going to get better and better. How bout Memphis with their young core? They could be a perennial thorn in Okc's side. We also know that eventually the Lakers will find another superstar like player to join them when Kobe hangs it up. So while i think Durant will get one or more lets not forget that stranger things have happened before with great young teams. What if Westbrook decides that he wants it to be his team? Or what if Harden decides that he wants a bigger role? U just never can predict these kind of things.

Well, you bring up a good point. The west has good young teams that get better every year. LA will have bynum or dwight and be able to get a top player after kobe retires. Another thing is after next season, OKC are not certain to keep Harden or Ibaka. They need at least one good big man to compete for a title.

Yeah i know that nothings 100 percent that's the point i was trying to get at. And we all know that GP and Kemp Penny and Shaq among others proly assumed they would run the league after Jordan slowed up but we see how that turned out.

If they move Westbrook to shooting guard and start Maynor they would be even better offensively. And get rid of Scott Brooks he sucks at making in game adjustments.

Those sonics teams were really good. Think about the fact that the bulls big 3 well into their 30s and the Jazz team with stockton and malone were will into their 30s. People think it will be ready to beat the Heat when they reach their 30s. It won't be easy and probably be harder because of their experience. The bulls team that went 72-10 and was an older team that had a lot of experience and jordan (32), pippen (30) and 35 year old rodman were playing at a high level. They would beat you in 3 quarters and rest the 4th most of their last 3 seasons together. There is reason why most teams that win titles are older... experience plays a huge role. Players are willing to play their role when they older, play smarter and turn the ball over less.

It will probably be a little easier to deal with the Heat in a few more years than it is now. Assuming they don't make any major moves.

I don't think Bron and especially Wade have the jumpshot to carry their game once they start to slow down and lose their legs. Bron will still be a good player, but Wade will be borderline useless once he loses that last bit of athleticism and that can happen any day now, i can only imagine him at 35. He would literally have no way of scoring consistently.

Next T-Mac...

I hope not. Its amazing that Lebron can move and jump the way he does and he had no knee problems at 260+ lbs. Dude doesn't even wear a knee sleeve. He must receive maintenance on the low from kobe's doctor every off season. :krs:

:wtf:

How can you say that when Durant has already made the finals and T-Mac has never made it out the first? I hope you just talking about in terms of being injury prone, but even then Durant has been pretty durable so you're basing that on nothing but a hunch :wtf: ....

Sure, Durant can at least contend for a title for years IF the core remains intact. Usually the window for a title incredibly short for most teams, but the fact that this team is so young means they can contend for a long fukking time and only get better which is fukking scary:sadcam:. A title does seem like barring they lose players to free agency or injury.
