Is Friday the GOAT comedy movie?

It's been 25 years since this movie came out and I know I've watched this movie like 500 times.

But every time I watch it, it's like I'm watching for the very first time again.


I can't think of another comedy movie as timeless as this movie.

It comes down to preference, but categorically, I can't think of many neighborhood films that are better.

Friday and Do The Right Thing stand alone.

Both could easily translate to the stage, with one setting, and ensemble casts and performances that carry the day.

Yeah, that's a comedy.

Now that's probably the only other comedy movie I've watched and enjoyed watching almost as much as Friday.

But Friday is my pick.

Friday is a classic movie all around. But as far as pure comedy, its next Friday. Pinky, Dada, Baby D, Uncle Elrit, the mexicans. I could literally go and on.
