i think so. i really think this single will make gunplay a star. he's no longer the wild cokedout hypeman for ross. this single shows he has shyt to say and has the skill to deliver it with a unique style that isn't wack. i think dude could end up being ross' biggest asset if he can stay out of trouble. yes, even bigger than wale or meek. a lot of dudes in the streets are playing this song, and mtv jams had it as their jam of the week.

:blessed:

i think this is his most marketable single in a while, not sure if they'll use this to push though.

Yeah I fucxs with "bible on the dash" It shows a bit of growth by Gunplay. "Rollin" was a hit single full of energy that I had on replay as well. "Pyrex" is a banger too full of that Gunplay energy.

If people like "bible on the dash" they should also like "its all on you." Another smooth track from Don Logan :myman:

IMO, it's not...

Gunplay done already shown everyone he can spit... Cartoons and Cereal, Power Circle, Rollin etc....we been know Gunplay was nice with it.

He has that DMX level of introspectiveness that's just :wow:... Bible On The Dash does show that he could craft a quality album that isn't 12-15 tracks of wild cokeboy goonery.

That's my dopefiend rapper :ohlawd:

LMAO major labels WILL NOT push a song called bible on the dash. ross just got in trouble for saying he slipped a molly (not a date rape drug) in her champagne. no fukking they're gonna push a song about the bible, even though its not blasphemous.

good song though :ehh:

It's one of the best songs I have heard in the past few years. In my opinion, a perfect song.

But NO fukkING WAY the label pushes this. Doesn't have any sort of sound that a "single" should have. This is a dumb question.

it's not necessarily a song that the label has to push. a "breakout" single can be one that opens the eyes of those who previously never considered the artist someone they'd listen to. that's what i mean by "breakout." it could be the song that lends credibility to his artistry so that more people take him seriously.

Said it before, but Bible On the Dash is the closest I've heard anyone come close to channeling their inner Pac in a long time.

OK.

Either way, I see this just catching the ears of people who already check for Gunplay, already know he can spit. The only people who really don't know what Gunplay is capable of are the radio masses, and this won't get to them either.

What he needs to do is put out ONE GOOD MIXTAPE. It's not much to ask, right? He puts 3-4 gems on mixtapes, then uses the rest of the space on the tape to recycle old songs and put on so-so freestyles.

If he blesses us with a 12-song, original production mixtape, he'll be off to stardom and finally get an album release date.
