Absolutely not. Halo 4 isn't all that after you get over the hype and whatnot. The game has much more lag than Reach and there really isn't a variety of options in matchmaking(Maps, gametypes etc.)

Personally, I'd do the 1st one(just buy it.) A used 360 shouldnt hit you too hard.
