Rent is ridiculous right now and it's bringing out the worst in these greedy mofos. New apartments are already overpriced and you got people renting one room of there old ass house with a shared kitchen and no living space for damn near the price of a new apartment. What kills most people is that they don't have the money saved up for a downpayment on a crib and the high rent prices pretty much dooms some people into rent for life unless they their income jumps significantly. Also I know the GMB shyt her is all satire, but black people need to learn to build. As a single person you'll need to make a bit more more money to live as comfortable as you'd be living with a partner who contributes to the household. And then you have people who can't afford to live alone, so they're either at home or in a situation with 1+ roommates, which isn't really a bad thing, but they're driving around on mortgages cause everybody feels like they gotta stunt. fukked up priorities.. a negative net worth is never a good look. I weep for the future of some of us.. it's pretty bleek.
