Nas and em were (are) rappers, but the music they did was NOT Hip Hop...Listen to "Sucka Mc" and listen to "NY State of Mind"...If you can't tell there is a HUGE difference in style, then maybe you should log off...

The flow is different, the sample selection and usage are different, the drum signature is different...The only thing linking the 2 songs is the fact that there is somebody rapping over the beat...

That's like saying Britney Spears and Arethra Franklin are RnB because they are both singing over a beat...
