I Love both Nipsey and this project, but I can't call it a Classic. It's dope no doubt though. Just hope he delivers on Victory Lap.

I feel like it's alot of good tracks, but not enough monumental tracks. Not really a central theme or message throughout either. It's a good tape to vibe to though. TM is better and so is Crenshaw if you remove a few tracks.

i think i enjoyed MM a bit more than crenshaw, but crenshaw had better standout songs. but nip been putting in work, him, kendrick, dom, q, and yg been holding down my LA fix the past ~4-5 years

Its good, but not a classic...
I fucc with Nip tough, besides him the only other LA cats I rock out with hard are Dom and Skeme (slept on)
But yeah Mailbox Money was a nice appetizer to set up VL finally. I wouldn't say it's better than the Marathon Series or Crenshaw as others have said

Crenshaw > MM but that doesn't mean MM is bad at all. It's a great project from top to bottom. I don't like the 2 verse songs OR the 1 verse one feature songs either (a hunnid a show, no nykka like me, Real nykka moves etc.)
I wouldn't call it a "classic" to me personally, but very few albums are classic to me. It's still in the CD deck tho

co-sign on there being nothing monumental feeling on it. Crenshaw felt way more important.
