Sremmlife 1 & 2 are classics and I stand on that.

3 was cool…it had some gems but they tried the The Speakerboxxx/Love Below album concept and it didn’t work. It showed that they’re stronger together. I only liked the first part when they were on the same tracks.

4 Life was trash…..

I think it’s over for them as a group…Swae will still be in the mix as a writer and hook man but i don’t know about Jimmi. They really dropped the ball. They should be still at the top of the game with how many bangers they dropped. They’re fanbase moved on to other people or just grew up.

I had listened to their album way back, and it’s sad how much they fell off on a mainstream level, cause that album is full of ready made singles. People just simply moved on.

Agree with the Swae Lee solo thing as well. People basically pulled a Quavo on him treating him like he didn’t need Jimmi. They were terribly terribly wrong.

Agreed. The only pushback I'd offer is that with most groups where people see one person as the the star, there's always an album or run of songs where the one that was getting shyt one goes the fukk off. We really didn't get that from Jimmi. He was never trash by any means, but I just can't remember tracks where he clearly carried the team for a bit.

It also doesn't help that at this point, their songs are incredibly formulaic, in that at minimum, you're getting a verse from each of them, PLUS a hook from Swae. At some point, you burn out on hearing songs that are half to two thirds Swae. And it definitely doesn't make the case for listening to a full album of Swae when you're mostly getting those already with most Rae Sremmurd songs.
