the job security would be nice but unless you were constantly moving up in the company seems like it would get boring

No its not...

Why would it be bad?

As long as its a good company and you have room to grow I rather work at one company than constantly moving around..

Unless it's your own company, I couldn't see how anybody could stay at the same place for such a period of time, unless (as Suburban Pimp and ugksam stated) there is constant room for growth, so that you're not stuck doing the same thing day after day.

Depends on whether you like the company and whether there's room for advancement.

But in this economy I'd be hesitant about leaving any job if you don't have another one lined up already.

Dude, if have fulfilling pursuits OUTSIDE of work, it doesn't even matter what kind of work you do for a living. (even if it's shoveling shyt
Daily)

The trick is turn those fulfilling pursuits into a job, but that in itself is a dangerous path, where you turn what was once passion into a livelihood.

Now stop bytching and asking questions about your career. shyt, you spend more time bytching than taking any action.
