Talk about it.

Consistency obviously makes all the difference but I tend to be more blunt with folks when I actually speak. Body language is sometimes a bit more up in the air, but because I know a little bit about it, I tend to take a deliberate stance. My posture and what I do with my hands are more often then not consciously open or closed. I would consider that blunt or bold.

You're already sharing your trite views on race relations, why not speak on how you speak?

The world belongs to the ones who are bold enough to take it.

Ownership is not subtle.

Bold is the correct word, but bold is not synonymous with blunt.

If you're always blunt, you won't make it very far in life.

Some people are too stupid or don't respect subtly.

A balance is necessary.

I think with friends and family and in a work setting its better to be more subtle, with blunt honesty follow through's.

When it comes to you're random everyday person's its better to be blunt and upfront and not disrespectful.

Depends on who you're dealing with, really.
I appreciate it when people are blunt. However don't confuse being blunt with being rude and disrespectful!
Other people can't handle bluntness.
