I walked over to two of my coworkers today... I gave one the proper dap with the right but the other coworker was standing to my left so I gave him a fist pound with the left to his right hand... So my hand was opposite his.... He looked at me and said "u dap'n me with your left? ...u on some ultimate disrespectful shyt right now!".....
We laughed it off but it just hit me how serious that shyt really is.... I felt ashamed even after I gave him a proper dap to make up for it....
I was always told its disrespectful to dap/shake with your right growing up. I was also told to never trust anyone with a limp handshake too
