Is It Gay If I Do Some Modeling?

I was in Starbucks listening to young scooter, feeling myself cause I got paid today so I done officially ran my bands up legally, and I was getting ready to read my company's policies so I could be educated on our benefits (health/dental/vision/401ks/traveling/etc) and this girl walks up on me, I was thinking she was choosing up but instead she said something along the line of "I think you'd be a good model" and handed me her card, I was thirsty so I told her that we should sit down and chop it up. We did and she showed me the website and shyt (which I'm not going to post) and told me to call on Monday.

Now I already have a fye ass job, plans to go to brazil this summer, plans to move to Germany in the 3rd quarter of the year, now I got this shyt that I'm considering.

I just thought though that this modeling shyt would be gay, but I'm trying to run my bands up and such.

I've actually been told on many occasions that I should model from women. Sadly, there just really isn't that much work for black male models out there even here in NYC.

My roommate does Fashion week runway shows for time to time. He did one for a Japanese brand (yes...Japanese) and there were absolutely no japanese models at all. Yes, it was an all white fashion show from a Japanese brand. You read that right.

Personally, I'd rather just be a tumblr famous male model type with my own brand...the fashion industry is such bullshyt it literally gets on my nerves to no end.

Its all about connections and who you know Ie : Rocky got like half of Asap (not even the rappers..hype men) modeling for Stussy, 10 deep, Bape, Pyrex and one recently walked at fashion week for DKNY.

Youre better off trying to start off with street wear brands and slowly building your portfolio
