title. i find it easy to do that in NYC cause i met alot of black women who dont give a fukk or also atheist. i feel like it would be hard living in the bible belt part of the country like Georgia, Texas, North Carolina, Mississippi, etc to meet black women. because in those parts alot of black women are not open to actually accept dating an atheist or be conscious.

tell me your stories brehs

YES.

Honestly I find it pathetic in general how many black folks are juxxed by religion and I don't feel the need to pacify or filter how much I think organized religion in general is bullshyt. That's to anyone. I tolerate how people want to believe and what they want to believe and respect it, but obviously even when being civil and respecting others views, they are going to clash no matter how civil you are so I would rather avoid that tension or disagreement altogether.

Like I hate christianity, white christianity might be one of the WORST things to ever happen to planet earth, how they hell would you think I feel that black people are practicing it but they didn't even adopt it on their own terms or on their own volition?

As I get older, this "God Fearing" or "putting God first" requirement seems to be the norm amongst washed older women. As an agnostic, which is a bit different, Any religious talk I have has to be on the intellectual level. If we are speaking straight faith based, you lose me, cause I dont share that faith. As long as a lady doesnt mind, It wouldnt be a deal breaker for dating. When kids come into the picture, however, I couldnt live in a household where instead of teaching history and culture, the primary driver of the house is what a sky daddy says. Im pretty much a humanist, and until I see otherwise, all that matters is the hear and now.

I imagine im going to run into a lot of obstacles dealing with women who think the worst of me for my non beliefs.

i totally agree with you bro. i fukkin hate organized religion so much as well, and black christians to me are so brainwashed. black christians are exposed to this knowledge that chrisitanity was given to them as slaves but still practice that bullshyt.

Depends on where you are and what type of black women. They aren't some monolithic group. If you try to date a black chick who is semi religious - ie from a religious family, goes to church every now and then, goes to the club to party (so she's not super religious) - it could be a problem. Her family won't be feeling you and she might side with them over you.

But there are plenty of black chicks out there who didn't really grow up in a religious home and don't give a fukk.

I wouldn't consider myself athiest, but I damn sure dont go to church with those fakes and fake ass pastors wearing Nike Jogging suits and screaming in the pulpit. people catching the holy ghost and shyt :scusthov: its just so fake to me. Try telling that to one of these "religious" Black women, bytches be sitting up in the mall roasting the shyt out of everyone that passes by, and having children out of wedlock but want to claim "religion" lol :camby:
