xfinity wifi is the network that's installed on any comcast owned router if you rent one. they enable it by default. I have my own equipment, so I don't share my internet, but I see that network popping up constantly. and typically it's slow like others have mentioned. I'm better off using the LTE on my phone most times.
main reason I don't get their router. fukk outta here using my house as an access point.
But if you got their phone service, you got no choice unfortunately. Thank God I don't. OOMA for the win!

I technically have the phone service. only cuz for me having the phone service gave me cheaper rates for 2 years than having just cable/internet. and they threw in HBO for 6 months.
when I signed up, I told them I didn't want the phone, but they sent me the router anyways. that shyt is sitting on my couch still in the box. I'm not gonna hook it up.

and that bundle promo offer is a hustle for comcast. The moment you call to try and cancel one service they counter you with :"well...if you cancel the voice, you will have to pay the regular monthly fee for the internet"
