is it just me or do women expect things to happen overnight?

They don't want the man, they want the magician.
I've heard this before as "falling in love with his potential instead of him". is that what you're getting at?

Depends on what's happening. I'm an pretty patient person in general so....it really just depends.

I get it from a lot of angles but the specific occurrence: my lady said I seem more argumentative than usual. we seemed to hash it out. i agreed that i would be more sensitive to her feelings (within reason) however, literally the next day she was mad about the same thing despite us not having a moment together. she came to see me at work and got mad that she wasn't my priority. i can see how it's upsetting or redundant but we're talking about a LTR. I need more than 24 hours to be judged on my progress.

Women want a man who ALREADY has it poppin'...they really THINK don't have time to wait and deserve a man who can "make things happen overnight", which is why ELIGIBLE BACHELORS are more attractive.

This is the worst, breh.

But! I guess she figures if you aint gonna start off the race strong after just talking about it, its only gonna get worst instead of better... Which is understandable.

Right on. But so many women also think they can nurture a Mr. Right. Some of y'all (30+ crowd:mjpls:) prey on brehs in a low place then flip when a more interesting dude comes along. Or worse, wait til dude starts coming up to tell him it's too little, too late. In speaking firsthand, not trying to be crass. I understand wanting to move on or growing apart but what is so unappealing about a dude coming up? You'd have more respect being down from day one then just being the flavor of the week that made it, no?

Thats logical. But when i mentioned that we had the same talk the night before...she didn't even recall it. Almost makes me not take her seriously at all when she complaining.

Yeah if she doesn't even remember...It'd be hard for me to take her serious if it was a big deal the night before and the next day she doesn't even remember having the convo

That's just one example but the catalyst for my question. Seems like women want things to be fast all the time. Is it so society? Biology? I feel like women want a man to be fun and into her all the time but also be totally focused on his career and/or education. Not saying I'm discriminated against, just saying it's hard to catch a break, you know?

That's the main issue I run into, and the only thing I can recommend from my personal experience is to just focus on YOUR THING at all times. Just keep improving yourself and even though a woman may feel neglected personally she's more likely to accept it and stick with you as opposed to you showering her with attention/affection but losing focus on your career/money and ending up broke. I know this from personal experience lol. My last ex wanted me to be by her side 24/7, help her get her career going, be creative in entertaining her, all the while carrying the situation financially, but then basically broke up with me because I started slipping with my money.
