Advertisements in everything that connects to the internet.
Games being released full price while not being finished.

I'm not even really interested in VR to be honest because I know that shyt is just going to be a way for companies to put advertisements directly in your eyes and the shyt will glitch up all the time.

digital things have existed for less than 40 years. analog and mechanical things have existed for several thousands

before we even think of refining anything digital, it needs to become as ubiquitous to a human as a stick is. then, and only then, will be see true craftsmanship in digital products

There’s a major drawback to that and people are slowly starting to realize that. Even people are seeing that now with streamers stripping shows away from their service at any point and time.

Physical is going to be important for that very reason.

I'm talking of a decline in quality since these things started. Downloadable games on steam used to run well. You could download games on the 360 and that shyt wasn't ass and filled with microtransactions that locked away huge segments of the game.

You could load up an app on your phone and that shyt wouldn't immediately need a huge update and then just crash anyway.

Ads weren't everywhere and as AGGRESSIVE as they are now to the point where they take big chunks of space . Smart TVs didn't have ads on the damn menu. YouTube videos didn't crash while trying to load unskippable ads.

My theory is that the people with all the money are still scrambling to make more. So they financialize everything. More ads. Can't buy, must be a subscription. Easy to sign up, impossible to stop. (Adobe Photoshop, looking at you)

That is just how it is, no system is perfect they all have drawbacks individually. All in all the digitization and modernization in society has been a good thing. THe availability of the internet is a good thing
