Is it just me or is that Judd Apatow crew of actors not funny?

40 Year Old Virgin and Superbad were the only funny ones.

Watching these Seth Rogen films and he's the same in every movie, in Knocked Up I found Leslie Mann funnier than him. I mean Channing Tatum isn't even a good actor but I could see him as his character in 21 Jump Street, which I found funny.

I'm a fan of Wedding Crashers, Pitch Perfect, Meet the Parents, Bridesmaids (yes Apatow produced it but not with his usual pack of actors)

I just feel comedy films aren't as funny anymore. Rom-coms are even better in my opinion cause at least you know they won't try too hard.

What do you guys think?

Depends on what you mean as his crew....

Rogen is funny but pretty damn limited. He was great in 50/50 though.

Jason Segel, Linda Cardellini, Martin Starr, James Franco, Paul Rudd......they're all cool in my book.

He's like the Jewish Kevin Smith. I enjoy most of Seth Rogen's work though, I think he's the funniest out that crew.

Most of the movies are funny but those types peaked with Superbad The 40 year old virgin and Pineapple Express.

The funny parts are somewhat predictable. They show almost every funny scene in the previews. The rest of the movie is junk.

I'm not really looking for Seth Rogen to try something different. The dude knows his lane and he stays in it. His act doesn't get tired to me at all, like say a Vince Vaughn would.
