Is it just me or the only people that say "money doesn't buy happiness" are usually poor as hell.

I used to think that too. I was like how can money not make your life better and make you happier? Thing is, what do you do after you buy everything you want? I focused on making a certain amount of money and prioritized that over friendships and relationships. I can pretty much buy whatever I want (within reason), but I’m not happy or fulfilled. I’m now trying to focus on relationships more now. There’s gotta be a balance.

It really doesn't though. I have relatives who are genuinely rich and they're some of the most miserable and weird people I know :yeshrug:

On the flip side I have very poor relatives who are very content

We're in HELL.

"Happiness" is extremely temporary and fleeting.

No matter how much money and assets you acquire, there's always gonna be something lurking around the corner to drain your happiness....be it something involving YOU (your health) , someone in your circle (imagine winning the lottery then the next day receiving a call that your mother died in a car accident), or societal (are you really happy with the state of the black community or the world generally speaking? ).

Coming out of this world is the true key to happiness.

We're in HELL. A prison planet

"Happiness" is extremely temporary and fleeting. It was designed like that.
