- His team is the Spurs… without Pop right now (not a market that casuals like)
- A lot of threes versus highlight plays (dunks, blocks)
- In terms of marketing - he seems really French from a personality perspective. Not sure the league or marketing people really know to market that to Americans

When he is dominant player on a dominant team, he will attract more broad attention. But overall the NBA needs to learn how to market Europeans (especially black Europeans, which there will be many more of) and quickly

Wemby read this thread and decided to go train with the League of Assassins and Foot Clan

Biggest issue was year one & two are that gray area where Wemby's growing into his body and game (admitted he was spamming 3s as an experiment), and the Spurs weren't good enough to put on TV repeatedly.


Now's that sweet spot where he's truly coming into his own and the team isn't a dumpster, between ESPN/NBC/Prime they should have a stand alone game each and every week.
