Is it me, or has New Balance completely undergone a massive change in perception?

I've seen some of their shoes that not only look damn good, but are incredibly comfortable.

I'm really thinking I might swap all my leisurely Nike Free's for a decent stock of 998's and shyt.

I'm mad I slept on NB

Last year during black friday I bought my first pair for like 25 bucks (they retailed for much more, it was a helluva deal).

Honestly one of the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned.

not all of them, but select pairs were everywhere

i remember i was at a rest stop in 2004 in south carolina, and was wearing 991s, my boy had on 574s. those were the top 2 then. we saw some breh wearing nike boots, this was when NOBODY wore those except DC/MD dudes, and we knew right away we were from the same place. chopped it up waiting for a bus, reminisced on home and went on our way.
